Art in the Park

Vineyard or lakeside setting, take your pick for the upcoming Art in the Park series. Presented by the District of West Kelowna, Art in the Park is an opportunity for people to have an up close and personal art experience in a beautiful setting. Artists will have their works on display on August 11th at Quails’ Gate Estate Winery and again on August 18th along the shores of Okanagan Lake at Rotary Park. Come on out and enjoy this 4th annual summer event!

Indie Rock at Music in the Park

UPDATE: July 27, 6:09 pm

Due to imminent thunderstorm activity, the District of West Kelowna regrets that it must cancel this evening’s scheduled Music in the Park event in Memorial Park which had previously been slated for 7 p.m. tonight.

The District of West Kelowna apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks the public for its understanding.

The theme of this week’s Music in the Park is Indie Rock with two of the regions best indie bands playing – Field of Green and Scissor Kick. Here’s a little preview of what to expect. Hitting the stage first will be one of our Talented Kids – Bjorn Kriel.

Come on down to Memorial Park from 7 pm – 9 pm on Friday. Memorial Park is located next to Johnson Bentley Pool at 3737 Old Okanagan Hwy in West Kelowna.

July 20th – Music in the Park

Due to the rain and thunderstorm activity in the area, this evening’s performance of Music in the Park has been cancelled. The crew looks forward to seeing everyone next week.
